- What is the WDMH All-Stars Hockey Game? The WDMH All-Stars Hockey Game is an annual event organized by the WDMH Foundation to raise funds for the local hospital. It features an exciting hockey game between NHL Celebrities and Local Community Members.
- When and where is the event taking place? The event will be held on November 2nd, 2024, at the Joel Steele Community Centre and Sam Ault Arena located at 577 Main St W, Winchester, ON K0C 2K0.
- What time does the event start? Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the game begins at 7:30 PM.
- What activities are available during the event? Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including an online silent auction, raffles, games, and a free photo booth. VIP ticket holders will have the opportunity to meet and greet the NHL Alumni players.
- How can I gain access to the online auction? Access to the online auction will be provided through the event website. The auction will be available to the public starting a week prior to the event and will be posted on our social media sites.
- Is food available at the event? Food is available for purchase from the Triple B Canteen located inside the arena. Cash, Debit, and Visa payments are accepted.
- How can I purchase tickets? Tickets are available for purchase at the WDMH Foundation or online. Go to the Purchase Tickets! tab to purchase online or contact Justine at 613-774-2422 x 6172 or by email at [email protected] for more information.
- What are the ticket prices? Ticket prices are as follows:
- Adult General Admission: $35
- Child General Admission (Age 6 to 12): $15
- Adult VIP Admission: $100
- Child VIP Admission (Age 6 to 12): $50
- Children under the age of 5 get in free, VIP admission not included.
- What is the purpose of the event? The primary goal of the event is to raise funds for the WDMH Foundation's Family Care Fund, to support families just like yours.

- How can I sponsor the event? Sponsorship opportunities include logo placement on promotional materials, mentions during the event, and more. Your support helps make this event possible and contributes to the success of the WDMH Foundation's Family Care Fund.
- Can I participate as a player? Yes, players of all skill levels are welcome to participate both male and female. Must be over the age of 18 to play.
- How can I register to play in the game? Players can register to play in the game through CanadaHelps, our online fundraising platform. Go to the Register To Play! Tab. Simply visit the event page on CanadaHelps and click on the "Create a Fundraiser" button. Follow the prompts to complete your registration and make your donation to secure your spot on the ice. The deadline to register to play is October 28th, 2024.
- What is the registration fee? To qualify for participation, players are required to pay a registration fee of $155. They must raise a minimum of $845 more, in addition to the registration fee, bringing the total amount to $1,000 to qualify to play. Players will have the opportunity to play alongside or against NHL Alumni players, and those who raise over $1,000 will have the privilege of selecting their preferred position.
- Is there a VIP lounge? Yes, there is a VIP lounge where NHL Alumni Meet and Greet will take place. Hors d'oeuvres will be provided, and a cash bar will be available.
- Are debit and credit card payments accepted? Debit and credit card payments will depend on Wi-Fi functionality in the building. Cash, cheques, and various card types are accepted for payment of live auction items only.
- Are raffles available during the event? Yes, there will be raffles and games available throughout the evening. Please note that payment for raffle tickets and games is accepted in cash only.
